You may wish to revert an article to an earlier version if an article has been vandalised or if inappropriate material has been added or removed.

How to Revert a Page

• Go to the page, click on "history" at the top ("Page history" in some skins), and click on the time and date link of the version you want to revert the page back to. It will not work if you click on 'cur' or 'last'.
• When the page comes up, you will see the revision date and time in small text at the top of the page, just below the title. Verify that you have selected the corrent version.
• Click the Edit tab at the top of the page (as you normally would to edit an article.) If you are reverting a page due to vandalism, make sure you are reverting to a page that does not have vandalism. At times, many versions can be vandalised.
• In some cases, it may just make more sense to write another version of the article, that incorporates the best pieces of both articles.

Caution: Be careful when editing high traffic pages, as you will over-write simultaneous edits that another user might be making at the same time to the same page.
